With the Belvedere, we have created a family-run hotel in South Tyrol where guests can become revitalised and relax. For moments and memories that last. We continue to work at this each day with a passion and a sense of connection to our homeland.
A LOOK BACK
Our house proudly looks back on 65 years of family tradition. It was Grandmother Frieda who made the family-owned hotel famous beyond the borders of Bolzano in the 1960s. Two buildings and the original wood-paneled traditional "Stube" parlour still remind us of the beginnings. Two generations turned the former "inn" into a luxury hotel for your holidays above Bolzano. The Belvedere was carefully developed step by step. Today it has become place of peace and enjoyment, awarded international architecture prizes - while remaining true to its roots as a family-run accommodation shaped by personal care and genuine hospitality.
DETAILS AND A VISION
To create a place like the Belvedere, you need someone who pays attention to the little things. Not to forget someone who never loses sight of the bigger picture. Renate and Hans complement each other perfectly in this respect. Renate always has an open ear for her guests - and a hiking tip ready. People say that she knows every corner of Jenesien, most of the hiking trails and almost every beautiful shop in Bolzano. She also finds the flowers for the unique decorations throughout the hotel. Hans, a former doctor and career changer from Munich, mainly works and organises in the background and supports his wife in all organisational matters.
We see the special location of the Belvedere as a gift and a mission. High up and yet so close to Bolzano, we have continued the tradition and thoughtfully developed our family-run hotel with vision and care.
A GREAT WHOLE CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED TOGETHER
Nimble hands, an eye for detail, an attentive ear and a big heart for their assignments make our team what it is: the best we could wish for. Be it housekeeping, reception, kitchen or service - we have known our employees for five, ten or even more years, which is extremely rare in the hotel industry. What is more, the vast majority of them come from the neighbourhood or the surrounding area. We sincerely appreciate that our team has remained loyal to the Belvedere for so long! It is this sense of togetherness that makes the Belvedere a family-owned hotel where guests feel welcome and at home from the very first moment.
