Award-winning architecture by Bergmeister Wolf

With skilled expertise, architects Prof. Dr. Michaela Wolf and Dr. Gerd Bergmeister have inserted new features and blended original elements with fresh touches, infusing the Belvedere with seamless architectural cohesion within a contemporary setting.

Or, as Bergmeister Wolf put it: “One shouldn’t build in a place. One should build a place.”

The focal points of the Hotel Belvedere are the countryside and the view. Bergmeister Wolf have positioned the new rooms in this setting such that the “generous, light-flooded rooms interlink with nature and deliver magical views.”

The Belvedere, a refuge on the rocks, takes up the shades and shapes of the landscape. The red porphyry leads from land to the concrete facade of the building, encapsulating it in parts. Architectural structures have been tailored to the rocky surface, and oak windows merge the interior with the edge of the nearby woodland.

The round building at the edge of the woodland houses 15 new suites complete with loggias which, through their interplay of light and shade, engage the indoor and outdoor areas in constant dialogue.

In the extension with its 10 new suites, the land seems almost to have been pulled upwards and over the roof, while the pool extension holds a new outdoor sauna with magnificent sweeping views over Bozen.

The result? The result? Fresh modernity and expansive space. Natural warmth. Comfortable, breathtaking splendour.

We have created the following gourmet, wellness and spa highlights for you:
